Goal- It is the overall goal of the Age-Level Work Area to convene the various age-levels of the church; singles, mature adults, children, youth, married couples, and families to evaluate, share hopes and concerns, plan personal spiritual based projects and to identify and work to help solve the needs of people in our community for the year.
Children
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
Learning the word of God and believing the word is our focus for children ages 0 -12 years of age. Our primary goal is to teach all children about Jesus Christ in a loving, exciting, and nurturing environment. We teach scripture through bible stories, songs, puppets, dance, and other age appropriate ways.
Children's Ministry is a vital part of Toulminville Warren-Street United Methodist Church's family. Our mission is to nurture and enhance the spiritual development of all God's children. We strive to help all children to grow in faith by knowing our Lord and Savior.
The staff of volunteers encourage children to be an active participant in the church. At TWSUMC, the children are able to participate in Sunday school, The Joyful Voices Choir, acolyte program, puppet ministry, 5th Sunday worship, Scouting, Easter and Christmas programs, Children's Sabbath, praise team, nursery, and mission projects.
We strive to minister to the needs and concerns of the children and their family. You are encouraged to participate and to become involved in this growing ministry in the Lord!
